Denise Pertuz,

Denise Pertuz is a psychotherapist and clinical social worker who can serve New Jersey and Florida. She has been in the helping profession since 2008. She obtained her first Master of Social Work degree in 2012 from Rutgers State University and, in 2018, her second Master's Degree in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University. Denise also earned her Bachelor's in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from Rutgers State University in 2008.

Denise's experience includes years of work in private practice, state, county, and community mental health and substance use programs. These years of experience have allowed her to serve families with children who were asylum seekers, victims of domestic violence, impacted by substance use disorders, and facing homelessness and other potential risks. Denise has conducted hundreds of clinical assessments, evaluations, and psychotherapy for individuals struggling with various psychiatric disorders and challenges, including post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, familial separation, and dislocation.

As the founder of ARIS Behavioral Health LLC, Denise continues to serve a diverse population by addressing individuals' debilitating symptoms related to mental health conditions, assisting them in developing their full potential, building resilience, and living more fulfilling lives.

Telehealth Services

Our psychotherapist is Certified in Telemental Health and can meet you over a HIPAA compliant connection (video and/or phone sessions). We offer individual therapy and support groups on Women's Issues and Stress Reduction.


Areas of Specialties

We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness theories to help strive for the best possible outcome. We help members with stress reduction, improve sleep, overcome anxiety/depression/PTSD, adjustment disorders, confidence building, manage pain, overcome fears, anger management, grief, and improve academic performance.

Psicoterapeuta provee apoyo emocional vía teléfono o video conferencia en vivo y en español. Las conexiones siguen todos los requerimientos de las prácticas de privacidad. Ofrecemos terapias individuales y grupo de apoyos en Asuntos de Mujeres y Como Reducir el Estrés.
